Having seen the effects of poor owners and a lack of governance at other clubs, I made contact with the Football Supporters Federation back in 2010 to explore the idea of forming a Supporters Trust at Rovers, and was subsequently elected to the board. The principles on which the Trust was founded remain the same to this day - Supporters are the one constant at any club and should have their views represented at the highest level.
I rejoined the board in 2021 and have since been heavily involved in improving the working relationship between the club and the Trust. I led on our successful Fans Takeover event against Girona and strive to provide insights to key stakeholders at Rovers and suggest how to better engage with the supporter base.
